After an interesting conversation in the office about Apple vs. Google, I read the article What Do Schools Risk by Going Full Google<\/a>. And I think it’s important we discuss the ramifications of supporting our schools’ decisions about device adoption.  It strikes me as important as we expand to be well-informed, and share what we know about the business models and data mining of each company.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

So she and graduate research fellow Mark Olofson sat down to talk about how educators encounter data-mining in edtech, and what, potentially, are some issues they should be thinking about when they sign their students up for the latest cool new technology tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
