Equity has always been a thorny issue for schools to deal with, and adding technology to the mix\u00a0has added a whole new layer of complications.<\/p>\n

As more research emerges linking technology to student engagement and decreased drop-out rates, the stakes\u00a0get higher, and the consequences for students with diminished access to technology grow more drastic.<\/p>\n

So what can you do?<\/p>\n

Equity, in every area, is complicated and multi-dimensional, and if you’re doing it right, intersectional to boot. That means there are a lot of different viewpoints and external forces to take into consideration. Here are some background resources to get you started.<\/p>\n
