Why screencast on a Chromebook?

Screencasting allows student to be in control of their learning and exercise their communication, reflection, and creative skills. Specific to Chrome, teachers and students have lots of options to choose from and they are all, for the most part, fairly easy to use and most have some version of a free trial. Just as a note, I would suggest reading the privacy policies as each have differences in terms of age, information collected, and third part integration. With that said, when used properly, this type of application opens opportunities for students and teachers that can deeper thinking, collaboration, and enjoyment for learning.

Happy screencasting!
